Did not know that. Very helpful! https://t.co/I1f9uS97zR http://twitter.com/NielsRoscher/status/1315228197626220544
Understanding how a matrix works has been very helpful to me to truly understand why rigs behave in certain ways in a particular situation.
This is a very nice introduction to using matrices in Maya.

This is the dream iteration time for making changes to a rig: Zero.
Seeing the changes populate live to the animated pose makes them so much more predictable and intuitive. I cannot wait to use this! https://t.co/oiwiqk2T03 http://twitter.com/NielsRoscher/status/1310906047637450752
RT @SGJohnMcClane: This is how movies are made now: “Fuck it, we’ll figure it out later in post.” And that’s why VFX looks bad lately in some movies, lack of prep, tight schedules and constant changes and improvisation. Lazy filmmaking yet VFX gets the hate and blame. https://t.co/7xtuNJt2go http://twitter.com/NielsRoscher/status/1310561693152481282
RT @Saihtamen: I was asked how I made my “sculpt layers”, so I did a quick video covering what was going on, how you can replicate it and a quick overview of tweaks/the tweak node. In the video description I also added a link to the code.

This is the other quadruped hind leg I use and like. Two layers of regular rotate plane IK handles. https://t.co/w4IoM6MW7B http://twitter.com/NielsRoscher/status/1307317388803813382
I like using the springsolver IK but the root joint can’t be parented and needs directly connected translation IIRC. https://t.co/7wsuzLo4gh http://twitter.com/NielsRoscher/status/1307309735503433729
RT @Saihtamen: Was talking with a friend about shapes and node connections in Maya. After a bit they asked if you could replicate sculpt layers. Which I figured could be possible. And it kinda works! Each “layer” has it’s own tweak that works as the envelope for that layer.

It’s always good to have a solid understanding of the fundamentals. We as riggers build so many layers on top of them that it’s easy to lose sight of them. But if something goes wrong (as it always does) solid fundamentals really help debugging the problem.

RT @yantor3d: If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again, and eventually, you too can cobble together a Bifrost graph that positions points along a “curve” a fixed distance from each other.
